borrow用法：

一、v. (动词)

1、borrow的基本意思是“借”,指向某人或从某处借走某物(借用不能带走的东西一般用use)。引申可表示“将别人的东西当作自己的来使用,抄袭某事物”“某语言借用另一种语言的词语”。

2、borrow可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,接名词或代词作宾语,可用于被动结构。

3、borrow不用于borrow sb sth结构，被借对象一般用from或of引出，后者更正式; 与on连用时,表示“以…抵押来借款”。

4、borrow是非延续性动词，表示“借”这一行为时不能与表示一段时间的状语连用，但在表示借来以后使用的时间时却可以和表示一段时间的状语连用。

二、lend

v. (动词)

1、lend的基本意思是“借出”,引申也可表示“提供”“帮助”“增添”等。可用作及物动词或不及物动词,用作及物动词时,可接名词或代词作宾语,也可接双宾语,其间接宾语可转化为介词to的宾语。

2、lend后可接反身代词,再接介词to,反身代词指人时,表示“欣然同意做某事或参与、合谋做某事”;反身代词指物时,表示“适合某种用途、活动等”。

3、lend可用于被动结构。
