创作背景
2010年，魔力红的第三张录音室专辑《Hands All Over》专辑首周只卖了14.2万张，只是上一张专辑的三分之一。乐队感到了危机感，甚至产生了提前录制下一张专辑的念头。
再重新审视《Hands All Over》中的作品后，乐队发现该专辑相较于前一张专辑没有什么新颖的元素，而亚当·莱文的嗓音也因为没有骚出新高度而渐渐被听众所习惯了。所以他们在2011年决定再录制一支单曲来试图挽回这一波的颓势。
