减速比，即减速装置的传动比，是传动比的一种，是指减速机构中瞬时输入速度与输出速度的比值。确定减速机类型，然后确定输入的功率和输出需要的转矩，再根据输入轴的转速和所需要的输出轴的转速，算出减速机的速比。根据实际使用情况如：每天工作时间、冲击负荷、开关频率等等来确定工况系数。适用功率通常为市面上的伺服机种的适用功率，减速机的适用性很高，工作系数都能维持在1。2以上，但在选用上也可以以自己的需要来决定。选用伺服电机的出力轴径不能大于表格上最大使用轴径。
