人物影响

中国人对于孙悟空这个形象的情感，源自于对《西游记》文本的热爱。文字的描写，自然可以让一个根本不存在的形象跃然纸上，但从戏剧到电影，观众还是希望看到具象化的神话形象。从文本中走出来的孙悟空，最早应该是在京剧的舞台上。

京剧的表演者们开创了“猴戏”的表演风格，惟妙惟肖，精彩传神，奠定了近百年来孙悟空形象的基础，日后，无论是电影还是电视，孙悟空的形象一直难脱京剧表演的根。

孙悟空生性聪明、活泼、忠诚、嫉恶如仇，在民间文化中代表了机智、勇敢。自唐代出现西游传说，一直延续至明清，明代出现这些传说的集大成本《西游记》。孙悟空在历代的这些民间神话里，被中国人奉为神明。
