广交会一年开2次，分别在春季和秋季，春季开展时间为4月15日至5月5日，秋季开展时间为10月15日至11月4日。

中国进出口商品交易会即广州交易会，简称广交会，英文名为Canton fair。在1957年春季创办，每年春秋两季由商务部和广东省人民政府联合主办，中国对外贸易中心承办，举办地点在广州市海珠区阅江中路382号，是中国目前历史最长、层次最高、规模最大、商品种类最全、到会采购商最多且分布国别地区最广、成交效果最好的综合性国际贸易盛会。
