冰墩墩的英文是BingDwenDwen。冰墩墩（英文：Bing Dwen Dwen，汉语拼音：bīng dūn dūn），是2022年北京冬季奥运会的吉祥物。其以国宝熊猫为原型设计创作，“冰壳”（糖衣）参考自中国传统的冰糖葫芦的文化元素。
头部外壳参考自冰雪运动头盔，将熊猫憨态可掬的形象与富有超能量的冰晶外壳相结合，整体形象酷似航天员，同时体现了冬季冰雪运动特点。
设计历程
2018年8月8日，北京冬奥会全球征集启动仪式举行，征集活动历时84天，共收到5816件设计方案。最终，由广州美术学院设计团队设计的冬奥会吉祥物“冰墩墩”脱颖而出。2019年8月，经北京冬奥会工作领导小组确定最终方案。
2019年8月，北京冬奥组委上报北京冬奥会工作领导小组吉祥物候选方案，确定最终方案。
2019年9月17日晚，冰墩墩（Bing Dwen Dwen）正式对外发布。
2020年12月，冰墩墩商标注册成功。
