那是因为粤语翻译英语都以谐音为主

跟粤语无关...粤语把很多酱类都叫做汁的

番茄酱的英文是ketchup。

例句：

1、她今天去购物的时候买了很多包番茄酱。

She bought packets of ketchup when she went shopping today.

2、主厨说过可以用番茄酱代替醋。

The chef said you could substitute ketchup for the vinegar.

3、梅金吃着热狗里面加了是芥末和酱菜，不过没有番茄酱。
