猕猴桃英语kiwi fruit。

其实，猕猴桃的正宗英文名称是Chinese gooseberry，原产是在中国。大洋洲把它作kiwifruit，是因为NEW ZEALAND用其特有的珍稀动物KIWI鸟（几维鸟）为其命名，好像成了新西兰的土产水果，其实是新西兰从我国长江流域引进的，美国WEBSTER'S 英文大词典上也载明KIWIFRUIT 一词最早出现于一九六六年。
