冬奥会项目是由大项（Sport）、分项（Discipline）、小项（Event）组成。

一个大项（Sport）对应一个国际联合会（IF） 。

一个大项包含一个或多个分项；一个分项（Discipline）包含一个或多个小项。

一个小项（Event）对应一块金牌。

比如，2022年北京冬奥会项目共分7大项（Sport）、15分项（Discipline）、109小项（Event），即109块金牌。

1、回转

回转是高山滑雪比赛项目之一。也称回转滑雪或回转障碍。北欧斯堪的那维亚半岛地区冬季雪多，适于开展滑雪运动，但因缺乏阿尔卑斯山脉那样的高山，高山滑雪不够普及和发达，而越野滑雪和跳台滑雪却得到较好的开展。

2、大回转

高山滑雪比赛项目之一。1952年第6届冬季奥运会开始列为比赛项目。比赛在坡度5°～32°的覆雪山坡上进行。线路长度男子为1500～2000米，女子在1000米以上。起终点高标差：男子250～400米；女子250～350米。
