GNP和GDP都可以用来计算经济增长率。每年的名义GNP或GDP与基年比，是为了去除价格变化因素，把名义GNP或GDP变成不变价格GNP和GDP。然后计算某年经济增长率的时候，是用本年GDP跟前一年的GDP相比较，计算出本年GDP的增长率，作为衡量经济增长率的水平；当然，你也可以用本年GNP跟前一年GNP相比较，计算出本年GNP增长率，作为衡量经济增长率的水平。关于第二个问题，RGDP，就是real GDP的缩写，就是实际GDP的意思，相当于不变价格GDP。

环比
环比分为日环比、周环比、月环比和年环比。
环比发展速度是以报告期水平与其前一期水平对比（相邻期间的比较），所得到的动态相对数。表明现象逐期的发展变动程度。如计算一年内各月与前一个月对比，即2月比1月，3月比2月，4月比3月 ……12月比11月，说明逐月的发展程度。
