感叹句是英语的一种重要的句型，用来表示人的强烈感情。一般说来，感叹句是由what或how引导，句末用感叹号，朗读时用降调。它有两个类型，七种句式。 一、用what引导的感叹句有三种句式，此时，what为形容词，用作定语，修饰它后面的名词或名词词组。 1. What+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数+主语+谓语！例如： What a nice day it is!多么好的天气啊!What an interesting book that is!那是一本多么有趣的书啊！ 2. What+形容词+可数名词复数形式+主语+谓语！例如： What beautiful flowers they are!多么美丽的花啊！ What good teachers they are!他们是多么好的老师啊！ 3. What+形容词+不可数名词+主语+谓语！例如： What fine weather it is!多好的天气!二、用how引导的感叹句有四种句式，此时，how是副词，用作状语，修饰后面的形容词、副词或动词。 4. How +形容词+主语+谓语！例如： How hot it is today!今天天气真热啊！ How beautiful the flowers are!这些花多么美丽啊！ 5. How+副词+主语+谓语！例如： How fast he runs!他跑得多快啊! How hard they work!他们工作多么努力啊！ 6. How+主语+谓语！例如： How time flies!光阴似箭！ How she dances!她跳舞跳得多好啊！ 7. How+形容词+a/an+可数名词单数+主语+谓语！此句式可与句式1进行转换。例如： How old a building that is!(=What an old building that is!)那是一栋多么破旧的楼房啊！ [特别提示]what或how引起的感叹句，在口语中常可以省略主语、谓语或其它句子成分。例如： What a good girl!多好的一个女孩子呀！ How cold(it is)!天气多冷呀！

由what引导的感叹句what修饰名词或名词短语，有以下两种形式：1. What+a(an)+（形容词）+单数可数名词+主语+谓语！如：What an apple this is!What a fine day it is!2. My friend is come.” 他说道，“乌拉!我的朋友来了。”→He exclaimed with delight that his friend had come. 他欢呼他的朋友来了。(引述动词用exclaim, 并加状语with delight)当然，也可用其他一些引述动词。如：■He said, “Alas! How foolish I have been!” 他说道，“哎，我多傻啊!”→He confessed with regret that he had been very foolish. 他痛悔地承认他太傻了。(引述动词用confess加状语with regret)■“What a crime he has committed!” she said. “他犯了多大的罪啊!”她说道。→She didn’t know what a crime he had committed. 她不知道他犯了那么大的罪。(引述动词用know的否定式)有时也可以不用引述动词，如：■“How fast she can run!” he says. “她竞能跑得那样快!”他说道。→It’s incredible how fast she can run. 她跑得如此之快令人不可置信。(用it’s incredible表示说话人的神情)■He said to them all, “Good-bye, my friends!” 他对他们说道，“再见，我的朋友们!”→He bade good-bye to all his friends. 他向他的所有朋友道别。(这里连间接引语也没有了)关于感叹句 what 和 how 的区别：一、 由"what"引导的感叹句："what"意为"多么"用作定语，修饰名词（被强调部分），单数可数名词前要加不定冠词a/an,复数可数名词或不可数名词前不用冠词。这类句子的结构形式是：what+(a/an)+adj.+n.+主语+谓语+(it is).如： ① What a clever girl she is! 多么聪明的姑娘呀！二、由"how"引导的感叹句："how"意为"多么"，用作状语，修饰形容词或副词（被强调部分）。如果修饰形容词，则句中的谓语动词用系动词；如果how修饰副词，则句中的谓语动词用行为动词，这类句子的结构形式是：How+adj.（adv.）+主语+谓语+(it is).如：① How cold it is today!今天多么冷呀！三、在表示同一意义时，英语感叹既可用"what"引导，也可用"how"引导。如：① What a hot day it is!How hot the day is !四、感叹句在表示激动强烈的感情时，口语中常常采用省略句，其后面的主语和谓语往往略去不讲。如：① What a fine day! 多么晴朗的天呀！

1、what 引导的感叹句
句型：
（1）what + a/an +形容词+单数可数名词+陈述句（主语+谓语）
What a beautiful city it is! 这是一个多么美丽的城市啊！
What an interesting story she told! 她讲了一个多么有趣的故事啊！
（2）what+形容词+复数可数名词/不可数名词+陈述句（主语+谓语）
What expensive watches they are! 它们时多么昂贵的手表啊！
What terrible weather it is! 这是多么糟糕的天气啊！
2、 how 引导的感叹句
句型：
（1）How+形容词/副词+陈述句（主语+谓语）
How hot it is today！今天天气多么热啊！
How hard he works! 他工作多么努力啊！
（2）How+陈述句（主语+谓语）
How he loves his son! 他多爱他的儿子啊！
（3）How+形容词+a/an+单数可数名词+陈述句（主语+谓语）
How tall a tree it is! 这是一棵多么高的树啊！
【转换】
1、两种感叹句可以互相转换。
What a clever boy he is!→How clever the boy is!What a hot day it is today!→How hot it is today!
【注意】what和how引导的两种感叹句，在口语中常用简略式，即省略后一部分（陈述句部分）如：
How cold！多冷啊！
What heavy traffic！交通多挤啊！
2、陈述句转换成感叹句
陈述句转换成感叹句时，常使用“一断二加三换位”的方法。具体如下：
（1）“一断”即在谓语动词后面断开，使句子分成两部分。如：
She is ¦¦ a beautiful girl.她是一位美丽的女孩。
He works ¦¦hard.他工作努力。
(2)“二加”，即如果句子中第二部分为副词，形容词，就加上how;但是如果是名词或名词词组，就加上what.如：
She is ¦¦ （what）a beautiful girl.
He works ¦¦(how) hard.
（3）“三换位”，即把第一部分与第二部分互换位置，同时把句号换成感叹号，并注意相关单词的首字母的大小写互换。如：
What a beautiful girl she is !她是一位多么美丽的女孩啊！
How hard he works!他工作多么努力啊！
