其实呢，解释也不算是敷衍啊，是按照正规的语法来的。在大学的语法书中有这样的一块：英语语法上，the,two,first 都被被归结为“限定词”。而限定词与限定词之间的搭配顺序是按照前位，中位，后位进行排列的。前位限定词包括all,both,half,double,twice,one-third,what等。中位限定词有a,an ,the,this,that等。后位限定词有one，two等基数词，first，second等序数词，next，last ,many ,much ,等。所以，the是中位限定词，要放在后位限定词的前面。而first，two同为后位限定词，他们的排列在语法上就是要求将序数词放基数词前面 。
