Breaking News （歌曲真假争议）在这首歌刚刚发出来时，杰克逊的部分家人和部分歌迷认为这首歌的声音不是杰克逊的，而是模仿者的，这件事甚至还质疑到了联邦调查局，联邦调查局经过调查认定这首歌是杰克逊本人的声音。但是半年后，有人声称这首歌作了很多音调处理和混音，升高了音调使人误以为是迈克尔杰克逊的声音。并还原了音调作为证据，被还原后的声音很像迈克尔杰克逊嗓音模仿者Jason Malachi的。 但是无论这首歌的作者是谁，最终这首歌的歌词也是很完美的体现了迈克尔的在媒体聚光灯下的生活，一种无言的无奈和不屑。仍博得迈克尔杰克逊粉丝的热爱。 参考资料：来自《迈克尔约瑟夫杰克逊》贴吧
