山西大学英语

Shanxi University, located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, is one of the institutions of higher learning with the longest history in China. It is one of the "Double First-class" universities in China and a "ministry and Province jointly built university" jointly built by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Shanxi Province.

In 1918, it was confirmed as National Shanxi University. In 1931, it was renamed Shanxi University. In 1953, it was renamed Shanxi Normal College.

山西大学，位于山西省太原市，是中国办学历史最悠久的高等学府之一，是国家“双一流”建设高校，教育部和山西省人民政府共同建设的“部省合建高校”。

学校前身是1902年5月8日创办的山西大学堂，1912年改名为山西大学校，1918年确定为国立山西大学，1931年改名为山西大学，1953年更名为山西师范学院，1959年恢复山西大学校名。
