一：含义解释

相同点：都可以用于表示发表评论和意见。
不同点：Compliment是表达赞美/表达尊重或允诺的行为，恭维。comment指对某人或某事物所发表的意见、见解，侧重于中性意见或贬义批评。
二：用法区分
compliment可作 名词和及物动词，含义为“恭维”、 “赞扬”、“问 候”、“祝贺”、“赞美”、“钦佩”；
comment：名词： 评论，意见，批评，描述；不及物动词：发表评论，发表意见；及物动词：为……作评语。做动词不带宾语。

——He's always criticizing her, and never pays her a compliment.
