工程师一般要求大专及以上学历，工学专业毕业，任助理工程师四年及以上，或许外加英语C等，计算机应用能力二个模块合格，可以申请，通过评审，即获得工程师职称。工程师首先要报继续教育，待考试合格后，拿到专业技术人员继续教育证书后，学完继续教育的课程，就可以在所在单位申报助理工程师，待拿到助理工程师后，3年，就可以报考工程师，也要继续教育。
