装运代理人英文

Freight Forwarding本身就是“货物运输代理”的意思，运费是预付（发货人支付，prepaid）还是到付（由收货人支付，collected）没有关系。我也见过用Freight Forwarder来指代货运代理人的。 “货运代理”是由英文的“Freight Forwarding”翻译而得。“货运代理人”则是由英文的“Freight Forwarder”或“Forwarding agent”翻译而得，由于最初是由“Forwarding agent”翻译而来，因此，选择使用了“代理人”一词。“国际货运代理”或“国际货运代理人”则只要加上国际“International”即可：“International Freight Forwarding”就是“国际货运代理”，“Iinterational Freight Forwarder”或“International Forwarding Agent”就是“国际货运代理人”。 目前，对“Freight Forwarder”一词的理解在使用英语的国家也有不同的含义，而在非英语国家和地区也有不同的译法，在法国译为“Transitaire”，在德国译为“Spediteur”，在日本则使用片假名表示。我国的普遍译法是“货运代理人”，但是，也有“运输代理人”，“货物运输行”、“承揽运送人”、“运输承揽人”、“货运承揽人”等多种译法。在我国，普遍被接受的是“货运代理人”实际上并不仅仅从事的是代理业务，因此，也就不仅仅是代理人的身份

货物运输代理当中的Freight Forwarding就是“货运代理”的意思。比如FreightForwarding Co., Ltd表示货运代理公司（即Freight Forwarder）。“货运代理”（即货代）是实际承运人和货主之间的桥梁和纽带，国际贸易当中，货物的进出口一般都通过货代来操作完成。Freight指运费、货运、货物，比如Freight Collect表示运费到付，Freight Prepaid表示运费预付。Forward指向前、促进、转运、发送，比如Forwarding Agent表示运输行、转运公司；Forwarder表示货代公司。
