剑桥TKT(Teaching Knowledge Test)外语教学能力证书考试是由剑桥大学英语考评部(Cambridge English Language Assessment)为母语为非英语国家的中小学及培训机构英语教师研发的英语教学水平入门级考试,主要测试教师对语言及语言应用基本概念的掌握,以及对教学与学习的背景知识及实践过程的把握。该证书在国际英语教学领域获得广泛认可,考生可以借此学习进一步丰富教学专业知识,拓展职业发展前景。 TKT六百多个专业术语是其知识体系的基石,对于这些术语,建议至少要浏览两遍以上,并且用英文流利地解释及结合实际课堂给出范例。以下在TKT基础模块1-3中遴选了30个高频术语,分为三篇文章介绍,本文为最后一篇,前两篇详见文末推荐。老师们可以在这个思路上举一反三,完成其它术语的学习整理。 21、Review 复习 作为对于新知识的巩固环节,复习必不可少。复习环节通常由老师指导完成,对于未学扎实以及学生普遍出错的单词、语法点,老师要设计一些活动帮助学生记忆和应用。 22、Silent period 沉默期 这是学生在英语学习阶段的重要时期,根据学生个体的特点不同,有长有短。通常在学习非母语时,孩子们更偏重“倾听”,而不是“诉说”。因此在英语教学初期,老师应避免“逼迫”学生张口说英语或能对你的语言作出“反应”。事实上“沉默期”的孩子往往在心中默念并回应,并非对老师给出的语言信号无动于衷。所以,给学生多点时间,多点耐心,这个时期对于他们来说是必不可少的,也是成长的必经之路。就好像婴儿咿呀学语前一直在输入外界的语言信号,然后才会慢慢张嘴模仿、发声表达。 23、Total Physical Response (TPR) 全身反应法 用肢体动作完成语言教学的一种教学方式。搜索文章:幼儿英语浸入式课堂离不开的TPR教学法 24、Wait time 等待时间 与“silent period”的处理方式一样,需要作为老师的你有足够的耐心。它指的是课堂上老师提出问题后,一定给学生留出相应的思考与组织语言的时间,不要过分期待学生能够迅速对你的问题作出正确的回答,更不要迫不及待地自问自答。这个时间其实不仅留给了学生,其实也给老师深入了解每名学生的学习水平、性格特点,留出了足够的时间。是建立在教育心理学基础上的一种课堂教学技巧。 25、Aim 目标 在一堂课或者一个教学活动中,教师希望学生和自己达到的目标。通常包括以下几项: 1)The main aim(核心目标):也就是最重要的目标, 例如:The teacher’s main aim in a lesson could be to teach the present perfect or develop listening skills. 2)A stage aim(阶段目标):一个环节、一堂课或一个阶段的目标,例如:To provide controlled practice of the present perfect or to develop listening for gist. 3)A subsidiary aim(次要目标):重要程度低于核心目标的其它目标,例如:It could be the language or skills learners must be able to use in order to achieve the main aim of the lesson or a skill or language area which is practiced while focusing on the main aim. 4)A personal aim(个人目标):教师对自己教学水平提升的目标,例如:To reduce the time I spend writing on the white board. 26、Attention span 集中注意力时间 指学生完成一次不间断的集中精力学习(听课、阅读、听力、写作等)的时间。 27 、Timing 时长 课堂上不同的活动或环节需要的一定时间,老师在备课时要考虑清楚每个步骤花费的时间,并在教案中注明。 28、Ice-breaker “破冰”活动 与“warmer(热身活动)”效果类似。指的是在上课开始前,为了让师生、学生间相互认识并增进了解的活动。“破冰”为了化解接触陌生的尴尬,冰融化成水之后会更加和谐、融洽。 29、Realia 实物教具 教学中的实物教具可以是闪卡、海报,也可以是现实生活中的衣服、菜单、日程表、小册子等各种常见物品。 30、Teacher role 教师角色 我们说教师是人类灵魂工程师,毫不为过,因为教师在学生学习过程中扮演的角色实在太丰富了,多达11个角色。把你能想到的,写在评论区,看看你能列出多少种。下篇文章我来公布答案。 近年来参加剑桥TKT证书考试的英语老师越来越多,许多大中型教育培训机构已经把TKT作为教师上岗必修课程。目前TKT课程主要包括两类:一是根据官方指定教材大纲系统讲解的五大模块;二是以术语知识为背景,结合国内英语教学实操的拓展课程。前者更适合TKT备考,线上课程总计68小时,全部由持有剑桥DELTA证书的英国资深培训师讲解;后者则适合一线教师的专业发展,已完成62个日常教学中经常涉及的话题。 相关推荐: 解读剑桥TKT证书考试中的30个英语教学高频专业术语(一) 解读剑桥TKT证书考试中的30个英语教学高频专业术语(二)
