英文书法常用字体：
1、Copperplate 铜版印刷体
这是最常见的英文书法字体，优雅圆润，粗细分明。Copperplate风格的字体包括：English Roundhand、Engraver's /Engrosser's 。 其中，English Roundhand才是真正意义上的手写体，它流行于多个世纪之前的英国。
工具：斜杆+点尖。
2、Italic 意大利体或斜体
意大利体起源于手写体，16世纪初在意大利威尼斯就已经出现为节省版面的斜体。由于起源于手写体，字形向右倾斜是其最大特征。最初是与正文完全不同的独立字体出现的，电脑字体中已经作为在衬线体字体的一部分收入，在正体排版中需要强调、区别的时候使用。
工具：平尖钢笔、平行笔。
3、Uncial 安瑟尔字体
安瑟尔字体看起来非常可爱，带着中世纪的气息，很容易让人联想到托尔金的中土世界。
工具：直杆+平尖、平尖钢笔、平行笔。
4、Business Penmanship 商务草书
这是一种讲究效率与美观并重的字体，因而不会有华丽的shade以及飘逸的游丝。而它对速度和运笔的极高要求，又使它的难度居高不下。因此新人如果要跳入此坑请慎重……
工具：中性笔、钢笔或蘸水笔。
5、Gothic哥特体
哥特体是装饰性很强的字体，比较重视线条，花纹的变化也采用了植物做装饰。可以了解一下18至19世纪时期的英国美术运动。要多注意字体线条的粗细，以及注意边角的设计。

6、Spencerian斯宾塞
