春节是一个充满红色的节日。它也是幸福与团圆的日子。春节最热闹的场面便是吃年夜饭，年夜饭昭示着团圆。大家不论多忙，总在这天聚聚。大家都围着大圆桌坐着，一个挨着一个，十分紧凑，因为人真的很多。外婆和阿姨在这天下午就开始忙碌起来：洗菜、折菜、洗鱼……过了一个小时，便开始煮。上菜的顺序，好像并没有规定，烧好了一样菜，就端上来。鱼、肉是必不可少的，而海鲜也总是出现在饭桌上。妈妈说，像她们这里的人桌上没有海鲜就不叫吃一顿好饭了。桌子很大，菜也很多。坐在左边的人夹不到右边的菜，而坐在右边的人总是夹不到左边的菜。这时，旁边的人就帮忙夹一下。也不顾什么卫生不卫生的。大家吃吃喝喝，也不管什么礼节，吃得开心就好。男人归男人坐，女人归女人坐，小孩么，就归小孩坐。男人们大多喝酒，大家都在聊天，说到尽兴处，还哈哈大笑起来，真有股把酒言欢的感觉；女人有的小酌一杯，也不多喝，有的就喝些饮料。大家拉拉家常，谈些生活小事；小孩呢？大人不让喝酒，统统都喝饮料，偶尔像大人那样碰一下杯，然后相视一笑，感觉有趣极了。吃团圆饭时，就是这样，热热闹闹的气氛一直都会弥漫着。
