1、professor在英国指“大学教授”,男女通用; 在美国口语中常泛指男性的先生或男女老师。

2、professor表示“某校的教授”时,在校名前用in或at。用in属正式用法。

3、professor与姓名连用,表示“某校的某教授”时,在校名的前面用of,而不用in或at,往往在of前面有逗号隔开,也可不用逗号。
