When the teachers make critical remarks, again it is the undesirable behaviors that should be addressed. “ I am so disappointed that Johnny didn’t do his homework. “ David, it is very rude to do that. Do you want others treat you the same way you treat them?” Remarks like these are avoided,” Linda is good . David is bad . The teachers don’t purposely set up role models or elites. All students are considered excellent as long as they do what they are told.◎Do not to compare to others student Do not one child to another.The American teachers think that there are many ways to weigh things so they never compare one student to another. Because they think each individual is unique. They respect the differences of each student. They believe everybody can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way. When i was a junior high school student, my English was poor as a consequence of my being addicted to the computer games. Besides, I kind of disliked my English teacher who hurt me when she said that I dragged on the performance of our class in the face of all my classmates. So I lost interest and confidence in learning English. Now I stil puzzle over the question why do we have to learn English just to pass the exam or to be admitted into a key university?
