代收行是指接受托收行的委托，向付款人(进口商)收款的进口地银行。代收行大部分都是托收行的国外分行或代理行。根据《托收统一规则》的规定，委托人可以指定代收行。 代收行的工作： 代收行接受托收人的委托，向付款人办理收款交单。代收行的基本责任是：(1)核对收到的委托书与单据是否一致，单据名称、份数不符时，必须立即通知托收行。(2)确定是否能完全按照委托书上各种要求办理，若对某些条文不能照办，则要求托收行予以取消或变更。(3)依委托书规定的方式交单。(4)除依业务要求必须的背书或加盖辨认的号码戳外，单据应按收到的原样向付款人提示，要求付款人验单并按交单方式执行。(5)如付款人验单後，提出与委托书要求不一致的要求，应立即转告托收行，取得答覆後，按答覆内容办理，根据托收委托书规定的付款货币，交给付款人。(6)收妥款项後应按托收委托书规定的路线、账户银行及账号立即拨交，不得擅自变更、挪用、拖延或错付漏付。(7)分批付款时，除另有指定外，只有在全部付款已经收到进，才能把单据交给付款人。
