如梦令

Last night the strong wind

blew and rain was fine,

昨夜雨疏风骤，

Sound sleep did not dispel

the aftertaste of wine.

浓睡不消残酒。

I ask the maid rolling

up the screen,

试问卷帘人，

“The same crab-apple tree，

”she says，“was seen.”

却道“海棠依旧”。

But, don’t you know.

Oh, don’t you know,

知否，知否？

The red should languish

and the green must grow.

应是绿肥红瘦。
