龟。Xmas应该是一起的吧。。就是Christmas的意思。而 Christmas 里的Christ 用 X 代替,则是因 Christ 一词的希腊文 Χριστοs的第一个字母大写写法很像英文的 X,初期的基督徒因为使用语言为希腊文,确实常常以 X 来作基督的缩写,语言发展成英语系后,有人索性将 Christmas 写成 Xmas。Xmas 是希腊文和英文的混合体,而非一个正式用法的英文字,在外国许多商家在圣诞节期间,挂出Merry Xmas 两个字海报,但在正式的场合仍以Christmas为正确圣诞节名称。o(∩_∩)o

圣诞节对于没有基督文化背景的中国人来说,只是提供了购物或是又一个出国游玩的时间点罢了。中国国内众多城市都有了圣诞狂欢,商场、超市等在圣诞前后都有大型促销活动。

也催生出了一个现象:“浙江义乌,号称世界圣诞饰品之都。”全球70%的圣诞饰品都来自这里。
