1、乘方：英文为power

power（[英][ˈpauə]  [美][ˈpaʊɚ]）：原意为动力，权力，功率等。在数学中表示数字乘幂的计算结果。

例：In base 2, only fractions whose denominators are powers of 2 are exactly

expressible: 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, and so on.

以 2 为基数，则只有分母是 2 的乘方的分数才可以精确表示：1/2、1/4、1/8、1/16 等。

2、二次方，平方：英文为square

square（英 [skweə]  美 [skwɛr] ）：名词译为平方，广场，正方形，方格，形容词译为平方的，正方形的， 成直角的， (尤指在生意上)公平的，动词译为一致， 成方形。

例：In every square centimeter!

每一平方厘米！

3、三次方，立方：英文为cube

cube（英 [kjuːb]  美 [kjʊb] ）：名词意思是立方形，立方体;立方，三次幂。

如：2的三次方为two cubed。

4、四次方：英文为 to the power of four

to the power of four：乘四次方。如2的四次方为two to the power of four。

例：The sun has a power of four times ten to the 26 watts four times ten to the

26 joules per second mostly in the visible light and some in the infrared.

有4乘以10的，26次方瓦能量，4乘以10的26次焦耳每秒，多数是可见光，一些是红外线。

5、n次方：英文为to the power of n

to the power of n意思是......的n次方。如2的n次方为two to the power of n。

例：So Q is just little q to the capital N power.

所以Q就是小q的大N次方，是粒子数目。
