我在瑞士留学和工作，我接触过4门外语。根据长期的英法双语使用经验，就实际运用（前面几位朋友已经查了辞典的意思了，你自己也完全可以查到），补充一下我的一些体会吧。首先，truck和lorry意思基本一样，中文直译就是“卡车”,truck这个词比较口语化，（lorry用的较少，应该是限于英国地区使用，马来西亚新加坡这些英语国家都很少用lorry）是所有货车、卡车、翻斗车一类的通称，是和轿车相对使用区分类别的最通用的词。所以你只要懂得truck和lorry都是卡车的意思，这就足够了。至于camion这个词，是我们天天都在讲的法语。若用英文直译就是truck，camion这个词现在也可能借用到英语中来了，（英文中有非常大量的法语词汇，在这里就不一一赣述了，如果你学习过法语你就会深有感触，呵呵），它在英文中应该是用来形容更大号一点的卡车，比如油罐车、集装箱卡车等等，但是你用truck也绝不能算错。任何类型的语言考试和语言文学研究都不会对这两个词有深入的研究。你细致的学习语言的精神很值得嘉奖，但还应该把重点放在动词和形容词的细致化比较和使用上 ：）
