1、进入餐厅

刚进入餐厅询问是否有合适的座位Do you have a table for five?有五个人坐的桌子吗？Do you have a table for …?有给…个人坐的桌子吗？

2、点饮料

服务员会问Do you want something  to drink?你想喝点什么吗？这时可以回答I want a glass of water. 我想要一杯水

3、要菜单

Can I have the menu?我可以看一下菜单吗？

可以问服务员Do you have any recommendation?你有什么推荐的吗？不想要的话可以说No thanks 不用了谢谢。

点餐时说Can I have a …我可以点...菜吗？美国餐厅菜单非常多但基本可以分为四种：Fish  鱼、Pork 猪肉、Beef 牛肉，Chicken  鸡肉。I want have beef 我想吃牛肉；I want have chicken 我想吃鸡肉。

5、 催菜

很多时候美国餐厅上菜速度比较慢，催单时可以用Is my order ready? 我的菜好了吗？服务员会说I will check 我去确认一下。

6、评价

有的时候在用餐过程中服务员会来问How’s everything？一切都满意吗？Is everything ok？一切都可以吗？这时可以回答Yes，good, 是的，一切都很好！Fantastic 非常好！Wonderful 棒极了!

7、 打包

Can I get this to go? 我可以打包带走吗?

在英语中很多请求都使用疑问句，疑问句提出请求会更有礼貌。

8、买单

Can I have  the check? 我可以买单吗？

9、叫服务员

Excuse me  不好意思Excuse me，can I have a glass of water？不好意思，我可以要一杯水吗？Excuse me，can I have the check？不好意思，我可以买单吗？
