Shanghai stands in the east of China.Stands 还可以用locates 代替。(小贴士：楼主大概写错了吧？上海可是在中国的东部，不是西部哦：）另，不太同意楼上的说法。我是比较反对中国人说英语时，连中国的地方都要模仿外国人的发音。外国人说中国的地方名，本就是在模仿我们的汉语发音，而且往往学得四不象。而我们中国人反而要再去模仿他们生硬的拙劣的发音，这本就是舍本逐末。何不大大方方的用汉语的发音来说地名呢？
