是应该用historic.historichistorical前者这个形容词是作“具有历史意义的”讲,后者这个形容词是作“与历史有关的”或“历史上的”讲,要加以区别.（注：prehistoric与prehistorical是同义,都作“史前的”讲,但以使用前者较多,所以个别英语词典已不把后者编取了.）例如：historiccities/castle/document/occasion/times,etc．historicallimitations/society/character/play,etc．比较：ahistoricnovel一部有历史意义的小说；ahistoricevent值得纪念的历史事件；etc．ahistoricalnovel一部历史小说；thehistoricalevent历史上确有其事的事件；etc．
