Since I was small, I like to play basketball, because I was effected by my father, he likes to watch basketball game so much, I will watch the basketball game with him. So when I went to school, I joined the basketball team in my class, we made up of a basketball team. Last week, we had our first match.
I was asked to play in the first time, I felt so nervous, I am so afraid that I could not cooperate with my team well. When the match started, I watched the basketball and moved as the ball flied, I forgot my job, I was asked to cover the team leader. I recognized my mistake, I changed my move, at last, I covered our captain successfully, our team won the game.
I learned so much from this match, team work comes first.

在我和家长们开始谈到讲英语的时候，我发现用一个简单的比喻来解释效果不错。如果您的孩子想学打篮球，您可以在开始的时候教他学习如何抓球。然后，教他如何弹球，以及投篮。之后，您可以教他篮球的游戏规则，甚至和孩子一起玩一下。所有这些您教的基本技能，都是孩子要打篮球比赛所必需的核心条件。一旦学习掌握并加以实践，他就可以和其他孩子一起玩耍，同时提高自身的技能。当和其他的孩子一起游戏的`时候，通过观摩其他的孩子，您的孩子会通过学习他人的玩法，来形成自己的游戏策略，甚至会开始对自己的技法进行创新。当他从练习中以及对失误的总结学习中表现越来越好的时候，他就有可能在篮球技能上超越您。

想象一下，在您的孩子的大脑中，有两种知识桶。一个桶里装的是汉语，另一个桶里是英语。两桶之间，是汉语和英语的混合部分和两种语言在语调、词汇、语法和口音等方面的重叠。开始的时候，孩子会模仿您说英文的方式，因为他是从您这里得到的大多数英文语言输入。当他们学的内容越来越多、年龄不断增长、同时也变得更加成熟的时候，当听到以英文为母语的外国人的标准发音的时候，他们就开始模仿外国人的发音，因为此时孩子们能够意识到这种发音方式是正确的。这个时候对他们来说，两只语言桶之间将变得泾渭分明，不再有重叠混淆的领域。
所以，我们的首要目标，应该是实现英文表达的流畅度，而非完美程度。让我问您一个问题：您宁愿自己的孩子能够流利的讲英语呢，还是能够准确完美的说英文，但是磕磕巴巴？学习英语，是学习一种技能，而技能的掌握，是在不断的犯错和纠正中获得的。这中间需要很多的练习和指导，而孩子们在沿途沾染一些错误的习惯，也不足为奇。但是，如果他们不从基本的表达技能学起，不开始积极参与这一语言游戏，要做到有朝一日流畅的说英文，是不可能的。
让我告诉您去和孩子讲英语是件很容易的事，但您要身体力行并养成这样的一个习惯，并非易事。我可以想象一个开始的场景：您在家里对孩子讲英语，而孩子表现抵触，甚至认为您在以某种残酷的方式惩罚他们——养成讲英语的习惯，对孩子不容易，对您来说，也不是件容易事。但我总和家长们说，为了一生的收获，请忍住一时的泪水。
