【An Unforgettable Thing 】If asked an unforgettable thing, I would say it was a volunteering event that my parents took my brother and me to join as I was sixteen. It is a matter of course that teenagers often have problems in communicating with their parents. I am no exception; apart from, I always take it for granted to have a fight and argue with my brother when I thinking I am right - at least I think so. Last summer, as was often case with me, I had a quarrel with my brother with some kind of blurry reason and I slapped him on his face. To my great surprise, father came talking to me in a nice manner instead of scolding and blaming. What he suggested me was to have a tour to orphanage as a one-day volunteer. There, in an orphanage, we, the whole family, in particular me, had a wonderful time in telling jokes to the kids, playing basketball, chatting with them and teaching them English. The longer, I stayed with them, the more contented I left. That was an unforgettable experience. Had not it been for this volunteering event , I would not realize that I was the luckiest body in the world for not merely have I a considerate father and a thoughtful mother, but likewise a cute brother to play with as well. As the case stands, it's an unforgettable thing in my life.
