很抱歉啊 没有PPT。这个是清华大学的学生参加大学生英语演讲比赛时的演讲稿。。。Ladies and Gentlemen, good afternoonWhen I was in the Primary school, I had a dream, I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. When I was in secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. And when eventually I got into university, my dream was to graduate. How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less and become realistic, why? Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be “fulfilled?”? Why do we have to surrender to the so called “reality”? What is the reality actually? Ladies and Gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is a barrier keeping us from all the possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. A hundred years ago, “man could not fly” was still regarded as ‘reality’. Now if that was really the “reality” what did the Wright brothers do? How did some of you get to Macao? Only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. People say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. And unfortunately, Mr. Reality wins this war. Then I say no future of mankind at all. AIDS will never be curable as this is the reality. People living in the undeveloped counties will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality. Disputes among different counties would never be settled as this misunderstandings and the intolerance is the reality. C.S. Lewies once said “You are never too old to dream a new dream.” So for our future, please dream and be unrealistic. Now that I am a university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. But at the same time, I have a dream deeply rooted in our future. One day people living in the areas now sweltering with the horror with the wars will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. One day, people from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries and those from the poor countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves. One day, different cultures in this age of globalization will coexist with tolerance and the unfriendly confrontations among them will be eliminated. One day, the globe will share the dream with me and we will all contribute to making our dream come true. One day, our dream will defeat reality! Thank you very much!

Thank you,Thank you for listening!!! A beautiful world Hello: everyone!Now I want to talk about a beatiful world! When I was young,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country. There were many flowers and trees around our city.We counld hear the birds singing and see the children dancing. The streets were clear and the the air was very fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that it would be come true! So I think we should do something to protect our environment. Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment. Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you can do something around your neighbourhood. Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cut down trees?If your answers are "No",it means that you have already helped protect our environment. It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy. You might ask yourself,"Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?"If your answers are"Yes",it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment. Now I want to say :Let`s do our best to make our world more beautiful! Only One Earth We have only one earth. But now,the environment becomes worse and worse. As you know,there's no enough clean water for people. So many of them lose their lives because of water. In a lot of countries, people have to cut trees for living. So there's nothing to keep water from running away. Also we have polluted the land, the river and the air. So we have to face more and more floods and droughts . It's time that we must do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant trees and take good care of them. We can save the water and ask our parents to do so. We can't throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them for recycling. If we take good care of our earth today,it will be more beautiful tomorrow
