Supermarkets are much the same the world over-especailly the queues at check-out points.There are odd snathes of overheard conversation too.

I felt my patience beginning to itch.Looking into my wire basket I counted ten items:giant bottles of coke crammed in beside a bag of potatoes,Somewhere at the bottom,I thought, there was always eggs or a see-thorugh tray of tomatoes which fell casualty to the rest.There was nothin else for it-I'd just have to wait.

The cashier was looking expectantly at me and I realzied that I had totalled up.I had an inclination that the people behind me were becoming impatient.

I gave over my money and picked up my carrier bag.I felt a sense of relief to be away from the mass of people.

Walking towards my bicycle ,I suddenly felt much better in the fresh air.In future I'd buy a large salad cream.

Doing Shopping in a Supermarket在超市购物

A new supermarket in our neighbourhood has started business recently.It is only five minutes' walk from our college.Ding Hua asked me to go shopping with her,or rather,to see what the new supermarket was like.

We went there yesterday.It was spacious,clean,tidy and brightly lit.There were row upon row of goods shelves filled with various kinds of goods.Two girl shop-assistants sat at two check-outs.Some other assistants were replenishing the shelves.But there were some who were just chatting with each other or just keeping watch on the customers.

We moved about,looking at the attractive things on the shelves.But we only bought a few articles,Ding Hua chose a pair of slippers,and I picked up a bag of washing powder and a bottle of pickle.

It is easy and convenient shoppiing in a supermarket.The first of those supermarkets were introduced into our cities from the developed countries only a couple of years ago,which shows that our economics are developing rapidly.But we think the quality of the staff members is to be raised.As far as we know,no shop assistants are chatting with each other or keeping watch on the customers in the supermarkets in developed countries.

There is a new market near my house. My mother often goes there and buys what we need for our meals. But I had never been there before.

在我家附近新开一个超市。我妈妈经常去那里买为我们做饭需要的东西。但是我之前从来没去过那里。

Yesterday I went to the market with my mother. There were so many people that we could hardly make our way out of the crowds. There were all kinds of vegetables, fish and fruit everywhere. People were talking about the goods and the prices. The sellers shouts could be heard every now and then.I remembered that the day before I had asked Mother to buy some fresh fish.Most of the fish there was frozen, but we had not much trouble in finding some fresh fish at the other part of the market. My mother bought something else as well.

昨天我和我妈妈一起去了那个市场。那里有许多人以至于我们在人群里举步维艰。那里到处都是各式各样的蔬菜，鱼和水果。人们讨价还价着。无时无刻都能听到商人的叫卖声。我想起了之前的一天我叫妈妈去买一些新鲜的鱼。那里大部分的鱼都冻僵了，但是我们还还是很容易的在市场别的地方找到了新鲜的鱼。我妈妈也买了一些其它的东西。

Shopping is one of the most popular avtivities,and most women like to go shopping. When you are shopping , you will have time to enjoy everything . And you will find the happiness of shopping . you can buy the thing you like but not the thing that you only imagine . Go shopping and you will find the happiness of it.

My name is Da Ming,Here’s my plan at the weekend.I'll go shopping to buy some clothes this Saturday morning,and I 'll do my homework that afternoon,then I'll ride a bike with my friends after 5 o‘clock.After that I'll have dinner with my family at 7, after that, I’ll watch TV till 10 and then I'll go to bed.I plan to go to the Great Wall on this Sunday with my parents.
