He will be back from New York.这样就变成了两句单句。This is the pen with which I wrote the letter. which引导的定语从句代指前面的PEN，但前面有介词WITH，所以只能用which不能用that。They gave up the plan,which was a very good one. 典型的非限制性定语从句。因为有逗号，是非限制性的，所以只能用which不能用that.LZ可以看看定语从句那块的语法。
