文中的 “master” 便是 “法师” 的意思。除了表示法师之外，master作名词还有多种意思。比如“硕士、主人、大师、教师”等。其它的常用搭配有master of ceremonies (节目主持人)、master key(万能钥匙)、Master Card(万事达卡)。
