英语演讲稿的格式1)开始时对听众的称呼语 最常用的是 Ladies and gentlemen，也可根据不同情况，选用 Fellow students, Distinguished guests, Mr Chairman, Honorable Judges(评委)等等。2)提出论题 由于演讲的时间限制，必须开门见山，提出论题。提出论题的方法有各种各样，但最生动，最能引起注意的是用举例法。比如：你要呼吁大家关心贫穷地区的孩子，你可以用亲眼看到的或者收集到的那些贫穷孩子多么需要帮助的实例开始。另外，用具体的统计数据也是一个有效的引出论题的方法，比如：你要谈遵守交通规则的话题，你可以从举一系列有关车辆、车祸等的数据开始。3)论证 对提出的论题，不可主观地妄下结论，而要进行客观的论证。这是演讲中最需要下功夫的部分。关键是要把道理讲清楚。常见的论证方法有举例法、因果法、对比法等等，可参见英语议论文的有关章节。4)结论 结论要简明扼要(以给听众留下深刻印象。5)结尾 结尾要简洁，不要拉拉扯扯，说个没完。特别是不要受汉语影响，说些类似“准备不足，请谅解”，“请批评指正”这样的废话。最普通的结尾就是：Thank you very much for your attention式： 1.顶格写称谓语(如：亲爱的老师)2.下一行空两格写问候(如：大家好)3.正文 4.结尾(如：谢谢大家)写法： 1、内容上的现实性演讲稿是为了说明一定的观点和态度的。这个观点和态度一定要与现实生活紧密相关。它讨论的应该是现实生活中存在的并为人们所关心的问题。它的观点要来自身边的生活或学习，材料也是如此。它得是真实可信，是为了解决身边的问题而提出和讨论的。2、情感上的说服性演讲的目的和作用就在于打动听众，使听者对讲话者的观点或态度产生认可或同情。演讲稿作为这种具有特定目的的讲话稿，一定要具有说服力和感染力。很多著名的政治家都是很好的演讲者，他们往往借肋于自己出色的演讲，为自己的政治斗争铺路。3、特定情景性演讲稿是为演讲服务的，不同的演讲有不同的目的、情绪，有不同的场合和不同的听众，这些构成演讲的情景，演讲稿的写作要与这些特定情景相适应。4、口语化演讲稿的最终目的是用于讲话，所以，它是有声语言，是书面化的口语。因此，演讲稿要“上口”、“入耳”，它一方面是把口头语言变为书面语言，即化声音为文字，起到规范文字、有助演讲的作用;另一方面，演讲稿要把较为正规严肃的书面语言转化为易听易明的口语，以便演讲。同时，演讲稿的语言应适应演讲人的讲话习惯，同演讲者的自然讲话节奏一致。演讲稿对于演讲都有哪些作用呢?主要体现在以下几方面：(1)整理演讲者的思路、提示演讲的内容、限定演讲的速度;(2)引导听众，使听众能更好地理解演讲的内容;(3)通过对语言的推究提高语言的表现力，增强语言的感染力。由于演讲稿具有以上的特征和作用，它在写作方法上也有一定方法可循。
