1、联邦调查局：Federal Bureau of Investigation，英文缩写FBI

是世界著名的美国最重要的情报机构之一，隶属于美国司法部，英文全称。“FBI”不仅是美国联邦调查局的缩写，还代表着该局坚持贯彻的信条——忠诚（Fidelity）、勇敢（Bravery）和正直（Integrity)，象征联邦警察。

2、国家安全局：National Security Agency，简写为NSA

是美国政府机构中最大的情报部门专门负责收集和分析外国及本国通讯资料，隶属于美国国防部，又称国家保密局。它是1952年根据杜鲁门总统的一项秘密指令，从当时的军事部门中独立出来，用以加强情报通讯工作的，是美国情报机构的中枢。

3、国务院：the United States Department of State

是主管美国在全世界的大使和领事馆以及涉外官员的工作，协助总统同外国签订条约和协定，安排总统接见外国使节，就承认新国家或新政府向总统提供意见，掌管美国国印等。

4、白宫办公厅：The White House Office

美国总统办事机构之一。它既是美国总统处理日常工作的办事机构，又是汇总情况、拟定方案以备决策的机构。

5、国防部：Department of Defense，简称DOD或DoD

国防部是美国武装部队的最高领导机关。军种部是各军种的最高行政领导机关，负责本军种的人事与行政管理、部队组建、战备训练、兵役动员、武器装备研制与采购以及后勤保障等。
