Trick or treat(不给糖就捣蛋)---万圣节小诗一首
Trick or treat.
Give me something good to eat.
Ghosts, witches, and goblins, too.
Are waiting in the dark for you.
The witch is riding on a broomstick.
She is warming up the big black kettle.
She is cooking small toads and spiders.
She is feeding all the ghosts and goblins.
We are all scared to death.
Trick or treat! Trick or treat!
Give me something good to eat!
If you don't.
Trick or treat! Trick or treat!
I want something good to eat!
Trick or treat! Trick or treat!
Give me something nice and sweet.
Give me candy and an apple, too.
And I won't play a trick on you!
The Witches Caldron
by William Shakespeare
"Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog"
"Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing"
"For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and babble"
"Double, double, toil and trouble,
Fire burn, and caldron bubble"
The Candy King
There was a king who loved Halloween
He waited each year for this scary scene.
He sneaked out to hang on his door
Black bats and witches and spooks galore.
The midnight hour was his favorite time
With monsters covering snakes with slime.
As twelve o'clock chimed through the stars
He opened up his snickers bars.

Life
--- By Allan Houston
Life can be good,
Life can be bad,
Life is mostly cheerful,
But sometimes sad.
Life can be dreams,
Life can be great thoughts;
Life can mean a person,
Sitting in court.
Life can be dirty,
Life can even be painful;
But life is what you make it,
So try to make it beautiful.
生活可能是智慧结晶;
生活甚至可能痛苦;
