语法上讲应该是to do。可以用in the company of sb。具体用法举例如下：A:The boy went to the kindergarten in the company of his mother.直译的话，意思就是：这个小男孩在他妈妈的陪伴下去了幼儿园。（主语是被陪伴者，of 后边跟的是陪伴动作的主动者发出者即行使陪伴这个动作的人）B:accompany sb to do sth。上一个例子，用这个词组就可以译成The boy's mother accompanied him to go to the kindergarten.但是，很明显，这样并不符合英语说话习惯。读起来，也显得繁琐累赘。所以，这个词组一般变化一下，采用下一种用法C:accompany sb to a place陪伴某人去某地The boy's mother accompanied him to the kindergarten.这样就十分符合英语的语法和使用习惯了。
