Two weeks before Christmas, Mrs. Smith prepared some cards to send to her and her husband's friends. When she asked Mr. Smith to write the cards, her husband went to his study room and came back later with a box full of Christmas cards with addresses and stamps on them. He forgot to post them last year.

Mrs Smith bought a lot of Christmas cards. When she came home from work, she said, "this is our Christmas card, here are some stamps, you will write a card?" Mr. Smith didn't say anything. Mrs Smith was very angry. A minute later, he returned with a Christmas card. He have an address and postage stamps. "These are from last year." He said, "I forgot to mail them out."
