IPI 主要是指从美西卸货，向美国内陆运输的转运费，IPI(INTERIOR POINT INTERMODAL)内陆转运费是针对海陆联运的陆运部分加收的费用。

在一个基于windows的多处理器系统中，IPIs的中断请求线（IRQL）号一般是29，它用在下面的场景中：

1、将一个DISPATCH_LEVEL中断入队列来为一次执行安排一个线程。

2、更新处理器的快表（translation look-aside cache）。

美国IPI点特点：

IPI，Interior point intermodal 是使用最为频繁的将货物从美西运至内陆点的运输方式。

与MLB运输相比较，小陆桥运输下的集装箱货物，其抵达区域是美国东海岸和加勒比海区域，而IPI运输方式则将集装箱货物运抵内陆主要城市。两者的运输方式、运输途径、运输经营人的责任和风险则完全相同。但与OCP运输相比较，IPI是完整的多式联运，而OCP运输则不是完整的多式联运。
