Eddwiss, edelweiss, every morning you grate me, small and white , clean and bright.

You must have heard of this song. Do you look for edelweiss? I found it. In winter, I went to the mountain. I found a small edelweiss blossoming among grass. It had pure white. I endulged in the beautiful scenery. Edelweiss is like an angel, it is dancing and smiling to me. The next day I went to see it. I cannot forget that small edelwiess.

It was sunny today. I was excited. I got up at a quarter to seven. I made a appointment to meet at nine o’clock. After I had my breakfast, I went to the city center of Beijing. It was cold outside. When I arrived, my friends didn’t arrive. I waited for him in front of the KFC’s door. I haven’t seen them for a year. And in a year, we didn’t come into contact with others frequently. About ten minutes left, my friends arrived one by one. After we greeted, we went to the 5-star restaurant to have lunch. The lunch cost us 800 yuan. Oh, dear! They were all very rich, and one was poor. January 28 2010

Yesterday we played happily, but there were only ten people. I remembered last year there were twenty-two people at all. I heard some my friends had gone abroad. They went abroad to study. Maybe I couldn’t see them in the future. I think next year we won’t make a party. Next year is a very important year. We all will prepare for the college entrance examination. It is the most important for us now.

I am a middle school student. I come from England. Now I’m studying in No.8 Middle school of Beijing. Today is Sunday. My Chinese friend, Li Hong, invited me to her house. In the morning we did our homework, then we played computer games and watched TV. At moon, I had lunch with the family. Li Hong's mother made a lot of delicious Chinese food, such as beef, pork, chicken, bean curd,cabbageand dumplings. I enjoyed them very much. I had a very happy Sunday in Li Hong’s home.

Nowadays the newspaper possesses considerable value Everybody should read it. It supplies us with a variety of news every day. It tells us the political situation of the world. If we form the habit of reading the newspaper, we shall (will) get enough knowledge to cope with our circumstances.

Zhang Ying is my good friend. She’s in Class1, Grade4 of Tianjiao Primary School. She’s a model student. She’s clever and she’s helpful, too. She often helps teachers and young students at school. She is good at Chinese, maths, English, arts and crafts, music and so on. She has a lot of hobbies. She likes painting and drawing. And she likes listening to music, having picnics with her parents. Oh yeah, she likes fishing, too. But she doesn’t like playing basketball, football, table tennis or volleyball. Zhang Ying is the best friend of mine. I like playing with her. We always work together and help each other.
