One possible version: English is one of the most important languages in the world. It’s used as an international language, and used widely as a foreign language in many other countries of the world. China’s Opening-up Policy, China’s entry into WTO and Beijing’s successful bid for the 2008 Olympic Games encourage more people to learn English. Now millions of Chinese are busy learning English. As a student, I’ll do my best to learn English well. I have to do more listening, speaking, reading and writing. I am going to work hard at it and help with Beijing Olympic Games. 略
