表达"年月日"时，在朗读时，序数词前要加 the。“月份”和“年份”时则不需要。

1、年份是三位数
年份是三位数，先读第一位，再把后两个数合起来读。如：769年可读为seven sixty-nine，757年读成seven fifty-seven。
2、百、千年份
200年读作two hundred，2000年一般读成two thousand，2001年则读成two thousand and one，以此类推，2009年应读成two thousand and nine。
3、第3个数字为"0"的读法
“零”读为O［ou］。
例如： 1809年读作 eighteen O nine
4、其他年份的读法
按照基数词的方法来读，一个一个数字的读。
