这两个介词均可与位移动词连用，表示动作的运动方向。

to往往与come， drive， fly， get， go， lead， march， move， return， ride， travel， walk等动词连用。

2、for往往含有“向前方的目标运动”的意思； 而to则含有“向最终目标运动”的意思。试比较：

They sailed to Guangzhou．
