太阳岛雪博会英文

雪雕，是雕刻艺术的一种形式，主要就是将雪当做塑形的材料，把它捏成固定的形状，再组合起来并修整细节，跟沙雕的原理颇为相近。

冰雕与雪雕常常容易被搞混。原因是雪雕的雕字其实是塑形的意思，跟冰雕是雕刻的意思不太相同，像是堆雪人，就可以算是一种最简单的雪雕。所以冰雕有晶莹剔透之美，雪雕则是不透明的白色，有朴实造型之美。

英文的Ice Sculpture则两者都有包含。雪雕与冰雕一样，都是在严寒国家盛行的户外艺术之一。在中国东北地区是雪雕艺术最发达的地区，特别是黑龙江省哈尔滨市太阳岛风景区每年都会举办规模盛大的雪雕艺术博览会。

2006年12月28日，根据黑龙江省专业测绘公司测量报告及哈尔滨市公证处公证员现场公证，太阳岛雪博会最大主塑“尼亚加拉风光”以长256.56米(曲线长度)、最宽宽度14.55米、最高点的绝对高度16.57米，喜获上海大世界吉尼斯总部授予的“最长的雪雕”证书。这是太阳岛雪博会举办19年来，首个项目获此殊荣。

主塑尼亚加拉风光”雪雕由“穿越白令海峡”和“尼亚加拉瀑布”共同组成，气势雄伟壮观，刻画了了一群披着兽皮的原始人，正从落日的方向迎着刺骨的寒风，步履蹒跚地走过来，表现来自亚洲迁徒者们穿越陆地和白令海峡上的冰面到达美洲，终于发现新大陆的神奇传说和加拿大尼亚加拉大瀑布的雄伟气势。该作品由哈尔滨北芳园林景观工程有限公司组织200人的施工队伍，历经15天的紧张雕刻完成。
