如果在翻译软件上查找，会发现小说有好几种表达方式，比如:novel，fiction，short story等等，其实他们是有区别的。novel一般指的是长篇小说，比如《呼啸山庄》，《简爱》等等。fiction多指科幻小说，但是用法是很广的。short story就是短篇小说啦。我们中国一般看的网络小说叫web fiction 。
