Have been a travelling by train for about 3h, the journey was tiring. I arrived in our provinces capital city-Nanning,a green city in south China.
I met Mrs.Long,then she showed me around the downtown including Walmart,Xingning walking street,the bund,ect. There is a drinks machine in the street that offers passers by free drinkable water. They had the same thing in my city, but people used the water to wash their hands which ruined the machines. On the contrary, Ningningese tend to protect every piece of public property. When a little boy wanted to wash his hands, his mother stopped him immediately and told him," you should not use the water to wash your hands,the water is for drinking."
In the evening I walked to see the Guangxi Peoples Hall and Mendzhidao shopping mall. The next day,I cycled to Langdong new district where the Nanning international exhibition is located. The exhibition is built for CAEXPO. The bike broke during my way back,but a student from Guangxi University kindly gave me a lift. On the last day i got up early to go to Qingxiushan Park.
There I enjoyed the scenery and prayed to the buddhas for my future.
With the rapid development of economy, the number of Chinese traveling abroad has increased enormously, which definitely benefits both China and the world.
In the past three years, the number of Chinese traveling abroad has kept a high growth rate. In accordance with the figures from a survey, there were about 7.5 million people traveling abroad in 1999. In the year after 1999, the number continued to rise. By 20xx, it reached 10 million people. And the year 20xx saw an ever-growing number of 12.1 million people going abroad.
The reasons why the number of Chinese traveling abroad grows so rapidly are just as follows. First of all, after 20 years' reform and opening up to the world, our economy has developed very quickly. Now Chinese have more money in their pockets than before. They can do whatever they want. Moreover, with more spare money in their hands, many Chinese would like to better the quality of their lives by going out to see different people, to hear different ideas and experience different cultures. And traveling abroad is just one way on the list to meet their demands.
From the above analysis, we can easily draw the conclusion that such an increase in the number of people traveling abroad is reasonable and will continue to prove on a rise.
I took a trip to Shanghai with my mother during the seven-day holiday. It took us more than two hours to drive to Shanghai from my home in Haimen. We stayed in a large hotel on the eighth floor. On the first day, I just stayed in the hotel and rested. On the second day, my brother and I went to Nanjing Road. It’s the busiest street in Shanghai. When we got there, there were lots of people. We walked from one shop to another. I bought two T-shirts and two pairs of trousers for the coming summer. The T-shirts and trousers I bought are all white because white is my favourite colour. My brother also bought some clothes. On the third day, my mother took me to Jinjiang Entertainment Centre. It was full of people. I played many kinds of gamesthere. I had a good time. The other days, I went to some other interesting places, such as the Oriental Bright Pearl TV Tower, the Huangpu River and Shanghai International Conference Centre. I didn’t forget to do my homework in the evening. I had a full and happy holiday.

i was born and grow up in the south where is not too cold in winter and i had never had a chance to see, snow. happily, i made a trip harbin this winter and i finally enjoy the snowing.
one of my aunt lives in harbin and she invited me to visit her. i stayed at her home for almost ten days. it snowed two times when i was there. one day, the weather report said that there would be a snow in the next day. since then, i expected it so much. next morning, when i woke up and looked out the window, i saw the outside become white. it was so beautiful. i went out immediately after i had my breakfast. the snow was on everywhere, the street, the car, the tree and the roof. i was excited to walk on the snow, leaving my footprints. besides, i also went to see the ice engraving. they were all made by ice and were made into various figures, such as castles, cartoons, animals and so on. when the colorful lights turned on at night, it was another amazing image. it seemed in the fairy tale.

because air travel has some advantages. first of all,
airplane, the miracle created by man, is the fastest means of transport. it takes the least time for one to travel by air from one place to another. besides, traveling by air is
convenient and comfortable. friendly air hostesses are affectionate and considerate. they look after passengers all the way to their destinations. in addition, on long
distance flights there are films and music for people to entertain themselves.
as a popular saying goes, "everything has two sides." the same is true of air travel. it has some disadvantages, too. for one thing, air travel is expensive. the average
chinese are not rich enough to afford expensive air fares. so they prefer to take trains, which save a lot of money.
for another, although passengers are assured of their safety, they are still worried about it during the journey because flying always involves more or less risk.
as for i am concerned, the advantages mentioned above exceed the disadvantages. if i were given choice between traveling by air and by train, i would certainly prefer the former, especially the long distance journey,
because time is the most important thing i have to take into consideration whatever i do.
