mature 或 ripe两者有区别：1.mature意为成熟的,它可指人或物在发育方面的成熟eg:You will learn what to expect as your child matures physically 2. ripe意为(水果,蔬菜等)成熟的;时机熟的eg:Peaches are ripe in this season 同义的还有adult，但用于表达“成熟的”意思的情况较少。反义的有：immature, premature 希望能对你有所帮助。

我查到三个词，不知道这样算不算不负责。。。亲表怪。ripe成年的,圆滑的,老成的[(+in)]He is ripe in judgement. 他具有成熟的判断力。mellow(人)圆熟的,老练的I've seen him grow more mellow over the years. 这些年来,我看到他变得更加圆熟了。mature 稳重的;慎重的,周到的Can't you behave in a mature way? 你的举止不能稳重一点吗?
